Convert your PDF to a scanned document

How It Works

Step 1: Upload Your PDF

Click the upload area or drag and drop your PDF file onto the main page. We accept PDF files up to 50MB. Your file is processed entirely in your browser—never uploaded to our servers.

Step 2: Choose Resolution (DPI)

Select your preferred resolution:

150 DPI - Fast processing, good for drafts

300 DPI - Standard quality, recommended for most documents

600 DPI - High quality, best for important documents

Step 3: Convert to Scanned

Click "Convert to Scanned PDF" and wait for processing. You'll see a progress bar showing real-time status. The tool converts each page and applies realistic scanned effects including paper texture and slight noise.

Step 4: Download

Once complete, click "Download" to save your scanned PDF. The file is saved as filename_scanned.pdf. Your original PDF remains unchanged.

Why Make PDFs Look Scanned?

Professional Appearance: Scanned documents appear more authentic and trustworthy.

Legal & Compliance: Some organizations require documents to look like scanned copies for archival purposes.

Email Standards: Matches traditional scanning formats used in business.

Security & Privacy

All processing happens locally in your browser. We don't store, upload, or access your files. Once you close the page, nothing remains. Your data is completely private.
